It is the policy of the LABF Board, and in accordance with Open Meetings Act, 5 ILCS 120/2.06(g), that any person is entitled to present comments before the Board. Comments from such person shall be limited to:

• A topic on the agenda
• A topic not on the agenda, at the discretion of the Board
• A total of no more than five (5) minutes for each individual speaking
• The entire Public Comment portion of the meeting will be limited to 20 minutes in length, regardless of the number people making public comments
• An expression of whatever viewpoint the person wishes to convey about the topic, however, the presiding officer at the meeting shall be entitled to cut off a comment if it is irrelevant, repetitious, or disruptive.

Solicitations of goods or services will not be allowed during the Public Comment period.

Each person wishing to present comments before the Board must file this form indicating their request to address the Board and the topic of his/her commentary. Please turn in your form by 4:00 P.M. of the day prior to the Board meeting at which you wish to speak so that your name canbe added to the building security desk allowing you access to the 13th floor. Remember to please bring a valid photo I. D. card to verify your identity with the building security desk.
